Summer Knitting

Summer seems to be going by fast.  Seems just yesterday was my daughter Megan, last day of school. We are now beginning to prepare for her Sophomore year of High School.   It also seems like the cooler weather will be here sooner than I would like.  I love fall, however not looking forward to the season after, and the white stuff that will fall when that season comes.

This summer I decided that I would knit a few things to prepare me for fall.  I knitted my first, for me sweater.  I used a wonderful pattern designed by a good knitting friend of mine Sara Gresbach.  The pattern name is Isles of Hope.  I truly enjoyed every aspect of knitting this.  From the mesh lace back to the short row sleeve caps, I love everything about this sweater!

Sara even helped me take model pictures.  We had a great time on the trails at Pike Lake swatting the mosquitoes between shots.
